Steve played in several local bands including the well-known area band Pendulum, before locating to the west coast in the early 80’s. Steve was the lead guitarist for Panzer, one of the premier San Jose CA Bay Area rock bands. Their released single received frequent airplay on both local radio stations KOME and KSJO. After relocating back to the Frederick area, Steve played in several local cover rock bands, and the blues band Black Magic and Last Dog Standing, which was a semi-finalist for the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in 2006, as well as winners of the Best Blues Band, and Blues Guitarist categories, 2 years in a row from the Frederick Blues Society. Steve was also the winner of Guitar Center’s “King of the Blues” central east coast region guitar competition in 2006.

Steve joined NoXit in 2017 and has enjoyed every minute since. Steve currently teaches at Make ‘n Music in Frederick. Steve has appeared on several studio recordings and CD releases. He also runs his own home studio and is working on several solo projects. Steve has a diverse background in music styles and cites his major influences as Michael Schenker of UFO, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Gary Moore, Joe Satriani and Edward Van Halen.
